Job Summary:  

Elite DNA Behavioral Health is seeking to hire a full-time Compliance Coordinator and Medical Records Associate to join our team in the Ft. Myers office.

DESCRIPTION:

The Compliance Coordinator/Medical Records Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Compliance Officer/Legal Counsel in the implementation and maintenance of compliance initiatives within the organization. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist with Strategic and Tactical Initiatives:

· Collaborate with the compliance team in the development and execution of strategic and tactical   initiatives.

· Provide administrative support for compliance-related projects and programs.

2. Customer and Employee Communication:

· Address and direct inquiries from employees and customers, ensuring prompt and accurate   responses.

· Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all communications.

3. Incident Reports and Policies:

· Organize and manage incident reports, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with   established policies.

· Assist in the creation, updating, and distribution of compliance-related policies.

4. Monitoring and Auditing:

· Support monitoring and auditing activities to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and   internal policies.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address any identified areas of non-compliance.

5. Medical Records Management and Requests:

· Oversee all aspects of medical records, including requests, organization, and secure documentation.

· Act as the primary contact for all medical records requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

· Experience in the healthcare industry.

· Certified Medical Biller/Coder (CMBC) certification preferred.

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

· Proficiency in MS Office applications.

· Legal experience will be considered as well.

Salary Range: $15 to $24 per hour or $30,000 to $50,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
