Advanced Practice Provider Psychiatry Fellowship Program
Elite DNA Behavioral Health is proud to offer a 9-month Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Psychiatry Fellowship designed to prepare newly graduated Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) and Physician Assistants (PA-C) for confident, independent practice in outpatient psychiatry. Our mission is to bridge the gap between graduate education and clinical excellence through structured mentorship, simulation-based learning, and hands-on patient care. Fellows receive the comprehensive training and support needed to deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to patients across the lifespan.
Program Highlights
- Didactic Curriculum: Expert-developed lectures and case discussions covering psychopharmacology, differential diagnosis, psychotherapy integration, and crisis management.
- Simulation Training: Suicide risk assessment, diagnostic interviewing, and clinical reasoning exercises.
- Dedicated Mentorship: One-on-one clinical supervision and quarterly individualized performance reviews.
- Learning Platform Access: CME and self-paced learning via Trakstar and internal education modules.
- Professional Development: Training in documentation, billing, interprofessional collaboration, and quality improvement.
Who Should Apply

- Recent or soon-to-be graduates of an accredited NP or PA program
- Hold or are eligible for Florida licensure and DEA registration
