Position Summary:

The Behavioral Health, Market Development Coordinator plays a key role in expanding access to behavioral health services by building relationships with referral sources and engaging communities in the Chesapeake, Virginia area. This position combines grassroots marketing, community outreach, and referral development to increase awareness and utilization of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, including physicians, schools, community organizations, and healthcare providers.
  • Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, and professional meetings.
  • Deliver and distribute marketing materials (flyers, brochures, business cards) to key partners and clinics.
  • Host and attend lunch-and-learns, CEU events, and networking mixers.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule of outreach activities aligned with clinic goals and capacity.
  • Report insights from the field, including referral feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, operations, marketing) to align messaging and optimize referral experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Understanding of behavioral health or mental health systems preferred.
  • Strong public speaking, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care across various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and community-based programs. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including vital signs, medical history updates, and symptom review
  • Monitor patients for psychiatric symptoms, behavioral changes, and medication side effects
  • Assess for safety concerns, including suicide risk, homicidal ideation, or decompensation, and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Provide crisis intervention and assist with de-escalation when necessary
  • Assist psychiatric providers during evaluations and follow-up appointments
  • Administer medications as ordered, including oral medications and long-acting injectables (if applicable)
  • Perform medication reconciliation at each patient encounter
  • Educate patients and families on psychiatric diagnoses, medications, side effects, and treatment adherence
  • Monitor laboratory results and coordinate lab orders as directed by providers
  • Communicate abnormal findings or concerns promptly to prescribing providers
  • Coordinate prior authorizations and collaborate with pharmacies as needed
  • Facilitate referrals to primary care providers, specialists, inpatient facilities, or community resources
  • Coordinate continuity of care following hospitalizations or higher levels of care
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Ensure documentation meets regulatory, payer, and organizational standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and applicable mental health laws
  • Maintain infection control and safety standards within the clinic

Skills

  • Proven experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.

  • Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for procedures and treatments.

Job Summary:

  • Takes medication orders from psychiatrist/APRN/PA and phones in to pharmacy if needed. Appropriate documentation, as well as confirmation phone call to client, is expected within 24 hours;
  • Prepare medication refill requests within 24 hours of receiving them;
  • Verify pharmacy information, last visit, last fill, insurance, pick up or mail etc.;
  • Prior authorizations should be handled within 24 hours of receiving the request from the pharmacy or insurance company. Document all interactions with patient and pharmacy;
  • Update medications and respective information on patient's charts;
  • Provide guidance and education to patients on the details of what has been prescribed and when / where to get the medication;
  • Provide information for afterhours call line and information to call if patient has a question. Document this interaction in patient chart.

Requirements

Education/Training Level:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One-year experience in healthcare, medical staff services preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Medical Assisting certification preferred.

Communication Skills:

  • Proficient oral and written communications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and customer service
  • Must demonstrate positive interpersonal relationship skills with individuals and groups in a wide variety of settings

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

As Front Desk Receptionist with Elite DNA Therapy, your primary responsibility is the daily supervision of the receptionist’s staff. To ensure all team members are greeting incoming patients and visitors, relaying incoming telephone calls, and performing various clerical duties in a professional manner.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

· Welcome patients as they contact the center personally or by telephone, and explain the services available, payment categories, and billing procedures.

· Schedule appointments; direct walk-in patients and emergencies as per established policies and procedures.

· Answer all incoming calls and route them to the appropriate staff.

· Register all patients per registration protocols and collect all documentation.

· Generate required documents for each patient and ensure all documents are completed in full.

· Reviews and verifies patient coverage of insurance or other agencies and computes the charges to be paid by the patient.

· Collects deposits or co-pays/deductibles prior to the patient being seen by the provider per established policies and procedures.

· Inform patient of their outstanding balance, collect said balance, and issue cash receipt when monies are collected.

· Work closely with Provider and Medical Assistant staff to assure smooth patient flow and cut down on waiting time.

· Call and remind patient of his/her appointment.

· Follow up on “no show” patients daily.

· Communicate patient’s problem/complaint to the clinic manager or his/her designee.

· Strong sensory skills, such as visual acuity, good hearing, and dexterity.

· Ability to stand and sit for periods of time and to move constantly throughout the workday.

· Work closely with Clinic Managers and refer them to patients who did not keep their appointment for follow-up, per policies and procedures.

· Good speaking and listening skills.
